Great post! I couldn't agree with you more. In this era of wham-bam oiedratcng and a tight economy it's even harder to find clients who value the investment of beautiful, custom decor. Though I tell my clients, it is even more important now to invest in good and unique pieces BECAUSE of the economy (think long term, like our parents did). If you shop smart and do something well, you won't need to redo it in 5 years, maybe not even for 20 years! Great design and its key pieces are timeless. Zhush it up with accents and fabrics that follow the trends.I love the details on the draperies and chair, too!

I was wondering if you ever thhugot of changing the structure of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
